THE GEMINI E-PLATFORM: AIMS, TOOLS AND CONTENTS

The GEMINI e-platform provides high school students and teachers with tools for a deep analysis of gender-related issues through the lens of serial dramas. To this purpose it analyzes contents, cultural roots and possible social effects of serial narratives, aiming at raising awareness on these issues and engaging young adults as gender equality ambassadors in their daily lives.
Through its innovative educational toolkit, the e-platform allows high school students and teachers to: recognize the most recurrent gender stereotypes and detect how serial dramas deal with them (UNIT 1); learn the basics of serial dramas’ languages and formats (productive, narrative, technical and ethical aspects) (UNIT 2); approach the writing and narration techniques of serial dramas (UNIT 3).
